During the time WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon announced that the XFL will be returning on February 8th & 9th, 2020, he also revealed that the league will be comprised of eight host cities with those eight host cities being represented by their respective teams.
Those teams are set to play their entire season in the stadiums or arenas that were assigned to them. New York City was among those eight host cities that were chosen to be represented when the XFL relaunches in February 2020.
The other host cities that were chosen are Houston, Texas; Los Angeles, California; St. Louis, Missouri; Dallas, Texas; Seattle, Washington; Tampa Bay, Florida & Washington D.C.
The XFL New York Franchise is set to play their games at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which is currently the home stadium to the NFL’s New York Giants & New York Jets.
Metlife Stadium can currently seat up to 82,500 people and is the largest stadium that will be the host of the XFL when the league relaunches. MetLife Stadium can hosts up to 20 NFL games per season, more than any other NFL stadium in the world.
Other major events that have taken place in Metlife Stadium include the NFL’s Super Bowl XLVIII, WWE’s WrestleMania 29 in 2013 & WWE’s WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
New York City, officially named the City of New York, is the most populous city in the United States and the most densely populated major city in North America.
New York City, which is located in the state of New York, has a population of over 8 million within an area of 309 square miles (800 km²). New York City is at the heart of the New York Metropolitan Area, which is one of the largest urban conglomerations in the world with a population of over 22 million.
New York City proper comprises five boroughs: Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens & Staten Island, with all but the last having populations exceeding one million.
The professional sports scene in New York City is a busy one, with two major league teams in the city’s main professional sport. The New York Yankees of Major League Baseball, who plays at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, is the city’s most famous sports team. The New York Yankees have won more World Series than any other baseball team in history and is the home to possibly the two greatest players in MLB history – Babe Ruth & Joe DiMaggio. The New York Mets also of Major League Baseball play at Shea Stadium in Queens, New York. The Mets have won The World Series on two occasions. One in 1969 and the other in 1986. In football, New York is home to the New York Giants & the New York Jets, who both play at the Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey.
The XFL New York Franchise is one of two cities to have also hosted a team in the original XFL, the other being Los Angeles. The New York/New Jersey Hitmen were a middling team on-field during the original XFL’s only season (despite a disastrous opening game that contributed to the league’s bad reputation when it aired on national TV) but had relatively strong attendance.
The XFL New York Team will indirectly compete with two other NHL teams and two NBA teams in New York City, in addition to numerous college basketball teams in the area. Also, they will have to compete with the two MLS teams in the area during March & April – the New York Red Bull, which plays in Harrison, New Jersey & the New York City FC, which play in the Bronx.
New York City really has a rich and deep history in the Professional Football Industry, especially with the New York Giants. This history and experience is really a huge factor for the XFL’s New York Team and can help them somewhere down the line.
The success and triumph that the New York Giants have had is one thing that the XFL’s New York Team can use as a boosting factor and an inspiration once the league returns in February 2020. Great things are expected from this franchise and one can only imagine what other accolades and success this team can bring.

I really hope that you will continue these cities reviews atleast all 8 of them. I do understand why u choose New York first but include some stadium photos or atleast teams photos that are in the city and representing it. Like Giants/Jets or something like that.
