XFL MVP QB PJ Walker Enters Game For Carolina Panthers

PJ Walker, the former quarterback of the Houston Roughnecks, entered the game Thursday Night for Carolina Panthers. This is the first time the consensus XFL MVP has hit the field. The Panthers are taking on the Atlanta Falcons.

Walker signed with the Panthers and reunited with his former Head Coach at Temple Matt Rhule. In recent months he has worked his way up the QB depth chart from the QB3 spot to QB2 passing Will Grier.

Teddy Bridgewater got injured with a late hit to the back of the head by Falcons defensive end, Charles Harris with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. After exiting to the blue tent, he is being attended to by trainers on the sidelines.

In his first NFL snap, Walker almost hit Robby Anderson for a touchdown but that was not successful. His time in the game was brief as Bridgewater returned to the game after a couple of plays.

Walker finished the game with 3 yards passing on 1 of 4 attempts. The Falcons beat the Panthers 25 to 17.
