Roughnecks Expected To Sell 20,000 Tickets In 3rd Home Game

The attendance numbers in the XFL have been good so far but Houston is looking to take it to the next level. The team announced via Twitter on Monday that they would be opening the upper deck of TDECU Stadium for their Saturday matchup with the Seattle Dragons.

Houston looks to have already sold out the bottom bowl and even opened up sections 238 and 239, both sections have never been opened for a Roughnecks game before.

The fact that Houston is the only undefeated team left in the XFL is the big reason why they are doing so well in ticket sales. Houston’s first two home games had an average attendance of 17,459. If Houston can reach the 20,000 ticket mark, they would be the third team to reach it following behind the Seattle Dragon and the St Louis Battlehawks.

With BJ Daniels expected to start, it should be a very fast-paced game. You can get your tickets here: https://www1.ticketmaster.com/houston-roughnecks-vs-seattle-dragons/event/3A00574BB57C3042
