Houston Roughnecks OG Avery Gennesy Cut By Tennesse Titans

Five months ago, the Tennesse Titans signed Houston Roughnecks OG Avery Gennesy. On Tuesday he was cut from the team. New York Guardians G Zac Kerin still remains with the team.

Gennesy was one of ten Roughnecks players to sign pro contracts. Currently, four remain on NFL teams.

Gennesy was taken 23rd overall in the 3rd round of the Phase #2 portion of the 2020 XFL draft. At 26 years old, he had pro stops with the Jaguars, Browns, and Broncos. He played his college ball at Texas A&M.

Just disappointed that Gennesy was not kept! It feels like a setup!
