Cleveland Browns Cut Tampa Bay Vipers DT Ricky Walker

2 weeks ago, the Cleveland Browns signed Tampa Bay Vipers DT Ricky Walker. On Thursday, the Browns announced they waived Walker. Michael Dunn and Jon Toth still remain with the team.

Walker was one of five Tampa Bay Vipers players to sign pro contracts. Currently, three remain on NFL teams.

Walker was taken 17th overall in the 3rd round Phase #3 portion of the 2020 XFL Draft. At 24 years old, he had one previous pro stop with the Cowboys. He played his college ball at Virginia Tech.
