Carolina Panthers Cut St. Louis BattleHawks DE DaVonte Lambert

Back in May, the Carolina Panthers signed St. Louis BattleHawks DE DaVonte Lambert. Friday he was cut from the team.

This is on the heels of the team signing Houston Roughnecks star WR Cam Phillips. Only P.J. Walker and Colin Thompson remain on the Panthers roster. Juwann Bushell-Beatty was cut this month as well

Lambert was drafted in the Phase #5 portion of the 2020 XFL draft. He finished the 5 games season with 7 tackles, 1 QB hit, and 1 tackle for a loss.
